Legacy

1. Installed 36 stones in the Old Center Cemetery

2. Integrated the curriculum into all 8th grade West Hartford Public Schools U.S. History classes.

3. Completed an open source database of all the enslaved people we have studied.

4. Taught four community sessions with more than 50 people. 

5. Created more than 50 videos to teach about life in the colonial West Division.

6. Developed a pilot 5th grade colonial history curriculum for West Hartford Public Schools to include enslaved people. 

7. Presented workshops to five community groups.

8. Worked with students to rename New Street with the name of an enslaved person.

9.  Uncovered names of 11 individuals are painted into the Rise Up mural in Blue Back Square.

10. Added Prut's name to the Revolutionary War slab of the War Memorial. 

11. Created a map of slavery in the colonial West Division with intern Finn Ashworth.
